Tracking your leads is vital for several reasons. Lead tracking:
Provides actionable data that can help optimize your marketing strategy. You can identify which sources generate the most leads and adjust your efforts accordingly.
Allows for more personalized follow-ups and keeping track of "next step" actions to improve relationships with potential customers and potentially boosting conversions.
Offers insight into the effectiveness of your sales team, showing who converts the most leads and where there may be room for improvement.
Even if you aren't using a CRM yet, you can (and should) track your leads somehow, even if it's via a simple spreadsheet.

ActiveCampaign is making updates to both the segment builder AND forms! 🎉 You can now build segments based on list status. Forms now have a built in CSS editor - meaning that you can further customize your form's look and feel directly in AC versus through your website code. I look forward to more updates to the form editor that AC is promising over the next few months.
Brevo (formally sendinblue) is a platform I'm watching closely. With their recent acquisition, we should see some uptake in system upgrades... and the last two week met my expectations. Brevo now can integrate content with AI, directly in a campaign, auto generate segments (cool!), and create visuals in Canva without leaving the platform. Brevo is also amping up it's sales platform (not quite a CRM yet, but it's getting there) and I'm excited about it. These tools will be really helpful for solopreneurs working in this tool (and I expect we will see more updates like this across similar platforms).
My absolute favorite checkout too, Spiffy.co launched a big wave of updates this past week. If you are looking for a tool to improve your checkout experience, check out Spiffy. Updates included everything from payment plan management to affiliate program updates and even more robust sales reports. I highly recommend Spiffy to handle the checkouts for any digital products, services, etc.
Keap has opened up early bird pricing for their 2023 Let's Grow Summit this November in downtown Phoenix. It's focused on small business owners and marketers, and the speaker lineup (I see you Donald Miller) looks fantastic!

However, when comparing your open rate, it's better to analyze your list metrics over time, types of emails and how (or if) you are filtering out non-confirmed opens.
